another problem exporting to pdf
« on: August 18, 2011, 09:32:06 PM »
Hello,

I've run into to a similar problem as some recently where I cannot export from within WinFig as a pdf. WinFig is recognizing the correct Ghostscript location and using
fig2dev.exe -L pdf inputfile.fig outputfile.pdf from the command line works fine. When I try and export from within WInFig it gives me nothing but 0 byte files.

Did you install GhostScript as mentioned in the readme.txt and on the "Requirements" page?

ok, WinFIG assumes gswin32c.exe to be located in "C:\Program Files\gs\gs9.04\bin"

Does that folder exist and is this the correct path to gswin32c.exe? Sometimes WinFIG is misled by stale registry entries that are left from previous GS installations that were not properly removed.

For such cases (and to provide an easy fix without the need of fiddling with registry entries) you can also configure the path in the "Preferences" dialog on the "Other" tab. Uncheck "Automatically determine path..." and enter the full path including gswin32c.exe.

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with exporting images. I insert .tiff  camiseta de futbol file using the picture icon and add other objects, but when I export it as .eps or .pdf the .tiff picture does not appear on the camiseta de futbol baratas  exported file. I only see the other objects, such as lines, text and so on, but the .tiff picture is missing... Did you have similar problem? Could you give me some advice?
