Export and resizing issues

After drawing a figure in WinFig I have exported it to .eps format.

Upon using the exported figure with a resize option (through width, keepaspect ratio options), I have found that the quality of the figure reduces drastically. Is there some way of over coming this problem?

could ouy be more specific in what way the qualitiy reduces? Something like becoming chunky is not possible in EPS. You could send me an example by mail.
